First team management departs

Mickleover RBL FC are sad to announce that the management team of Garry Smith, Jeff Baldwin, Max Adams and Dean Rowe have left the club

Mickleover RBL FC would like to place on record it's thanks to manager Garry Smith, assistant Jeff Baldwin and coaches Max Adams and Dean Rowe for their immense contribution to the club over the last three seasons.

Garry and Jeff depart the club this week having guided the first team to three top four finishes in the Central Midlands Alliance League Premier Division South, including a runners up spot in the 2022-23 season. The same season, the team were vicrotious in the Buckingham Insurance League Challenge Cup, beating league champions Clay Cross at Alfreton Town's Impact Arena. This was followed up last season with victory in the Derbyshire FA Divisional Cup South with a win on penalties over Derby Singh Brothers at Ilkeston Town's Microlise New Manor Ground.

Max and Dean departed a few weeks ago to join Loughborough FC as manager and assistant. They leave having joined the first team coaching staff after a successful 2022-23 season with Mickleover RBL Reserves, winning the Derbyshire FA Junior Saturday Cup on penalties over Inter Belper at Ilkeston Town's Microlise New Manor Ground.

Garry and Jeff have been instrumental in creating a family atmosphere within the first teasm and have encouraged the team to become a very strong part of the club as a whole, making sure that they have been involved in all club activities and presentation days during their time at the helm.

Thank you all so much for everything you have done during your time at the club. The club wishes all four of you well in your continued steps in your football careers.
